Hello, fellow Chaotics. I’m imagining that I’m standing in a big cavernous hall, addressing all of you, as dragons fly overhead.
Now, hold that visualization in your head. Are you paying attention to what I’m saying? Hell no! Chances are pretty good that most, if not all of you, have rushed outside to stare at the incredibly awesome sight of a flight of dragons passing overhead. And therein lies the meat of my Letter today.
You see, as all of you rushed to complete EVERYTHING the new Expansion has to offer, did one of you think that maybe – just maybe – you’d do it all in less than one month? And that you’d be bored, much too soon after rushing to do it all, when you didn’t have to rush? I’m not one to talk, though. If you’re one of the many members who have joined us in the past 3 months, I’m the old fart with 8 alts – none of which has reached level 30 yet. I have rushed through real life, and real life rushed right back. It’s why I’m taking it slow now. We’re all paying for the time we spend online, and I plan on enjoying all of it. Vik Vicious recently posted the following in the Shout Box:
” So, you other Warriors wanna, like, go man-mode some stuff sometime? Duo an extreme primal, or 4-man T9? Let’s just all get together in a big pile and get bloody. It’ll be fun. Promise. “
That’s what I’m talking about here. Have fun. Otherwise, why pay to be miserable?
I’m taking a break from creative writing this issue. The first complete Moogle Mafia Files is here; but Boco the Chocobo, Carolus Fune and the Chocolate Cake will return next issue. I’d like to thank the current group of contributors to this issue. They have worked very hard to meet my deadlines, and have submitted some pretty dynamite stuff. The Journalists have come up with some great new columns, photo galleries – and we have the exclusive debut of Eskarina Weatherwax’s comic strip, THE FREEST COMPANY. If you like what we’ve done, please show us some love. Use the websites’ Shoutbox! Leave a comment here on the newsletter. LIKE US ON FACEBOOK. Please. Tell us what you like. Tell us what’s crap. Tell us what you’d like to see, to read, to discover.
Enjoy the summer, and relax.
