You’ve probably run dungeons without having the ability to actually speak to your fellow teammates. Once upon a time, all communication required typed messages, read on a computer screen. Maybe you even perished while typing out a cry for help. If you use Chaos Theory’s account on Teamspeak, you have fellow member Emirii Mei to thank for it. And she, in turn, has someone to thank for the gift that gave her the ability to give us Teamspeak. In her own words:
I was a longtime customer of my current host, WebHostingBuzz.com. I was on their shared hosting plan for 7 years running my small website and domain name. 2 years ago, the CEO offered me a free virtual private server, meaning a server I could do whatever I wanted to with it! While it still hosts my small site, I now have the freedom of tweaking with a virtual server and making as many websites as I wish. That also saying, I was able to install any linux program as I wanted! This got me started learning how linux worked, the commands, how to run programs and general web server maintenance. Without this technology I would not be as far as where I am at my job today, and I could not have brought all of my friends a teamspeak server free of cost! I thank WebHostingBuzz.com for their generosity because without them, it wouldn’t be possible.
Amazing how being generous inspires others to be as well!
